Les Miserables Arena Tour Cast Announced!

The Casting For Les Misérables the Arena Spectacular Has Been Announced!

With a cast and crew of over 110 people, this arena tour of the iconic musical is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated tours in theatre history. The production itself has expanded from the staging of its 2019 West End performance, with amazing new staging purpose-built for areas and audiences of 5000.

Sharing the role of Jean Valjean will be Killian Donnelly and Alfie Boe, with Michael Ball and Bradley Jackson sharing the role of Javert.

The stage production draws inspiration from Victor Hugo's novel, accompanied by music composed by Claude-Michel Schnberg and lyrics penned by Herbert Kretzmer. Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel contributed the original French text, with supplementary material provided by James Fenton, and further adaptation overseen by Trevor Nunn and John Caird.

The tour is set to kick off at the SSE Arena Belfast on September 19, 2024. After Belfast, the show will have a 3-day run at Glasgow's SSE Hydro Arena, then move to Sheffield's Utilita Arena from October 10 to October 13, and finally Aberdeen's P & J Live Arena from October 17 to October 20.

Following this, the tour will begin its European leg starting in Luxembourg, making stops in Geneva, Trieste, Milan, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Zurich. The show returns to the UK for Manchester and Newcastle around the festive period, before heading back on the road to Sweden, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.
